Ending Homelessness, One Family at a Time
Homelessness is not an abstraction for us. It has names, faces, and addresses we walk to four times a year. We go where people are, we give with dignity, and we stay connected because we believe every person in Washington DC, including veterans and families with children, deserves more than survival. They deserve a path home.

Create Pathways to IndependenceThe gift card opens a door. We walk through it with them. For families ready to rebuild, we connect them to housing resources, services, and the ongoing support that makes lasting change possible.

Dignity in Every EncounterA gift card lets someone choose their own meal. That choice matters. We don’t hand out charity, we hand a neighbor the freedom to decide what they want to eat, where they want to go, and how they want to spend a small moment of grace.

How We Help
Two programs, one mission, immediate relief today and a stable home tomorrow.
Active · Immediate Relief
Gift Card Program
We provide grocery store and local restaurant gift cards to help individuals and families access food immediately while preserving dignity and personal choice. We hold quarterly Gift Card Events in known encampments throughout Washington, DC, and distribute gift cards year-round as we encounter people in need across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Each card is $50 and purchased from Walmart, Safeway, Giant, and McDonald’s.

Housing Program
Our vision is to provide homes for individuals and families committed to rebuilding their lives. Homeownership offers stability, dignity, and a foundation for enabling families to save for their children’s future and create lasting financial security. Our approach is designed to support stability beyond placement, including counseling, because lasting change requires more than temporary shelter. This program is currently in development, your support today helps make it a reality.
